The owner Leonard Redway, a fourth generation plumber established LRS Plumbing in 1997 shortly after he graduated from Dorsey High School in Los Angeles. Redway and everyone that works on the plumbing team are licensed, trained, Bonded, Insured and professional.

Road not always Smooth
Society has always had such a negative image of black men which has spewed that ugly hate for hundreds of years towards them; when in fact, if given the right opportunities, black men are great leaders, rulers and kings.
Opportunity or not, these black men at LRS plumbing decided to create their own opportunity; they have been able to secure permits for major construction and plumbing jobs which isn’t sitting well with their Caucasian counterparts.
They are constantly asked to prove their credentials, insurance and qualifications. It’s as if people do not believe they are real plumbers.
But their regular customers are more than happy. These men are self- sufficient, independent and make their own way. They are an inspiration to many because they not only build their communities, they also mentor other young black males and minorities wanting to follow in their footsteps.
The founder’s daughter is also being trained into the art of plumbing.
