We are shocked and upset that Trump should utterly insult African Countries and Haiti.
This week, Trump described Haiti, El Salvador and some African nations as “shithole countries” in a shocking Oval Office outburst.
UN human rights spokesman Rupert Colville said: “These are shocking and shameful comments from the President of the United States. There is no other word one can use but ‘racist’.
“You cannot dismiss entire countries and continents as with such an insult, whose entire populations, who are not white, are therefore not welcome.”
In the Oval Office, Trump reputedly said, according to the The Washington Post: “Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?”
It is our opinion at Black Economics that Mr Trump should no longer be called Leader of the free world. There is no excuse for his rhetoric and Americans should hang their head in shame.
African Leaders need to respond. Send a strong public message to the Americans and the world, that they will not accept Trump as a legitimate leader. He has no idea about diplomacy and is dragging down the country with his lack of class and intellect.
Right Thinking Lawmakers need to call him out and find some way to punish him, and impeach him. He needs to be removed from office before he causes anymore damage.
The international community needs to isolate America. Should they ever need help militarily, no country to should come to their aid.
The UN, should remove the status of America in their organisations. America can no longer be respected, while it has a leader who is an embarrassment to mankind.
The remarks are the racist without a doubt. There is no way you can sugar coat this or excuse this. This illustrates that this is part of Trump’s way of thinking. It is what he would be saying behind closed doors to friends and family. Unless you are a powerful and rich – like Oprah, he just tolerates a black person, and has a few around to satisfy the diversity disciples.
What example does this set to children, who are now going to feel it’s alright to insult black people. Africa is not worth going to. And how will children and young people from Africa feel. It provides open season for red necks – of which Mr Trump is one.
Africans have a higher level of education than the rest of the US population. Black people around the world feel deep hurt by his statements. No wonder we die early when you consider the level or racism we encounter throughout our lives, now even at presidential level.
Trump’s values, his judgement, his temperament and experience are to be questioned. How can right-thinking people accept this, like its just another conversation. The racists and rednecks in America are no doubt very happy. We can just hear them chatting and laughing over Trump’s latest faux pas. They will be celebrating because they are super happy to have someone in the White House who thinks like them, and is not afriad to say it.
So Trump is now cancelling his visit to London. Good. If he had not done that, we would have been calling for his visit to be cancelled. How can one possibly entertain such a racist/fascist? If he had attended, it would have been the biggest demonstration every seen in the UK. The only how there would not have been massive protests, is if he had sneaked in and disappeared before anyone knew he was in the country.
Apparently he has said all Haitians have Aids, Nigerians should go back to Mud Huts, Mexicans are Rapists, or drug smugglers. Today, he is trying to deny that he used those words. But if there were several witnesses – why is he bothering to LIE now. Yes, in the past, Trump has called himself the “least racist person that you’ve ever met.” No doubt he went on to say, “I have very good black friends”. But if you have black friends, surely you would realise how painful it is to hear what he really feels. If our white friends made such comments as Trumps, we would no longer be friends. And even if an apology followed, the wounds and scars would still last forever.
But people from Norway would be preferred. So he wants more blonde white immigrants, rather than black immigrants. Such obvious blatant racism cannot be excused, and for anyone who dares to – they should be got off just like Don Lemon did to his stupid guest.
A politician states that Trump is abdicating from Global Leadership, but today we say that world needs to SACK him from Global Leadership. If American politicians cannot remove him from office the international community needs to remove America from the table. Davos attendees must be puzzled as to why he is attending the world economic summit – considering he is such an isolationist. Attendees should to ignore him, and if he makes a speech, walk out.
