Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of travelling. It arrives in a journey – not necessarily a destination. Once a goal has been achieved – the europhia may last for but a few hours or days. But another goal is now sought to keep the adrenaline going.
What to do
- Hang around with positive people
- Help someone. Altruism is powerful. As you bless others, you are blessed.
- Do good deeds for the day – every day. Joy comes back to you, sometimes from a different direction
- Turn your big goals into small steps. Get a sense of satisfaction often.
- Development a peaceful life. No point stressing all the time.
- Develop a Spiritual Life. There must be a higher being. Prayer and Meditation are powerful.
- Earn enough and buy the things you want – within your budget. Retail Therapy is a thing.
- Feeling low? – Talk to someone. Go for a walk. Do some exercise. Read motivational books or watch motivational videos. Don’t sit and dwell on negativity.
